About me

As a child I spent most of my first two or three years in Malta but grew up mainly in Cornwall and Scotland, I lived in London for a while after reaching 21 but later on I moved to Holland when I was twenty six and stayed there until I moved back to Cornwall in 1994

I was married for a short while and lived initially in the very tiny Cornish village of Lelant which lies between Penzance and St Ives where I joined a water colour class given by Annie Williers in the local scout hut.  

After that I moved to Penzance where I started a class at Penzance School of Art.  That is where I discovered the magic of Canvas and Acrylic…..now I’m an addict!!

Painting images is my favourite thing and I have been doing so now for quite some years. 

I have quite a collection of Acrylic and Water Colour paintings (including, landscapes, seascapes, trees, flowers, still life, (mermaids and fairies now and again). I also create anniversary cards from my paintings and do commissions.

People say my work has a dream like quality.

Most of my inspiration comes from Cornish, Greek and Dutch landscape/seascape, skies, blossoms, trees, flowers and certain buildings.
