I started this little painting of two cute yachts last weekend in the meadow behind the house and finished it off today, I'm quite pleased with it.  I think it will be the first of a triptych, although they won't be joined together, just a set of three separate similar images really.  

This painting is 2ft x 2 ft or 61cms x 61 cms. Painted in January 2007

Most of my Acrylics on Canvas are unframed because I carry the image around the edges of the canvas.  Frames can always be added if desired.

St Michaels Mount on a Frosty Winter's Eve looking from Marazion.

Just before Christmas Eve I crunched along the sand and saw the Mount glowing under the moon, it looked as though it had been lit up for a magic ball.

I have had this painting hanging in different rooms of my apartment all year round, it is especially nice at Christmas time and has a very interesting sort of glint to it depending on the light.

Greek Stairs lead down to a safe pool off the Med....don't swim too far mind you....

I love Greek islands with their dazzling white and blue buildings and the ever present sparkling sea. This was a place in Milos in the Cyclades.

Quite magical

Den Ilp - one of my favourite little places in North  Holland, not far from Amsterdam. 

There's a whole sauna swimming pool complex there set midst the countryside.  You can sit in the sauna and look out at cows and sheep in the surrounding fields.  Yet when you approach the sauna it looks like a small farmhouse, no sign of the pools from outside.Very relaxing place, gorgeous smell of eucalyptus inside, different sort of smell outside!.

These pretty Marazion Mermaids are a favourite with children and adults the same. I painted each mermaid individually and then pasted them on to the painting which I painted over again...

Dreamy Blossoms and Bulrushes under the Full Moon! The colours are perfect, delicate mauve, damask, white, purple and gold with a dash of midnight blue

Taking Oscar to the Beach -

My artist friend Lucy and her bloke Terry have a lovely little cocker spaniel called Oscar. He's very well behaved!

Mysterious golden stairs leading to who knows where?  It's bound to be very nice when you get there....This painting is 51cm x 41 cm or 20 " x 16". Painted in January 2007. Signed by me.

It started as quite a bleak victorian staircase but grew to be a mysterious abstract golden stairway to somewhere very nice. It can be turned any way and the stairs run up and down.

This is Porthkidney Beach, Cornwall near where Jonathan Miller (and me!) used to live between St Ives and Penzance. It is one of the most beautiful stretches of white sandy beach in the whole of Cornwall (and UK). This summer there were many wild flowers and in particular a glut of Cow Parsley!
